Our own first renovation started before we got married with a sweet little farm house we saw for sale & couldn't pass up! We bought it & then we renovated it. Our second home was another farm house, this time bigger & on 10 acres. We loved it....and renovated it. One day I tore the carpet out on a whim. Yep, creative thinking leads to creative renovation! Those hardwood floors needed to be uncovered! We like adding bathrooms too. You can't have too many right? We loved the original claw foot tub & wanted to leave it in that bathroom. Adding another bath with a shower was the perfect solution for that home. Our first house in Alaska was purchased in the late 80's. We got a great deal & like many Alaskan homes it needed to be finished. After finishing the lower level we then added a spacious bathroom, large entry way & two stall garage. Our next home in Alaska we built to fit our family & the way we live. Many homes in our area don't have a large enough entryway, room to store Costco size items or space for winter gear. We understand the unique set of needs for our Alaskan homes.
Over the years we have designed, built, own & manage a community of rental homes. We restored & renovated our historic colony home which is now a vacation rental. We bought a foreclosure sight unseen, completely renovated it, & have it as a sweet little rental home. We have purchased many homes that just needed a second chance to tell their story. Our goal is always to bring a home back to what it needs to be. Neglected homes make us sad.
Last summer we designed & built a log sauna at our weekend getaway cabin - that was definitely a fun project with a relaxing payoff! After peeling and hoisting logs I have a new appreciation for our settlers who didn't have the luxury of a chain saw.
Excellence & Quality have been our foundation for 30 years.
These are not just words - it's the way we do business. Whether a spec home or custom build, full renovation or new cabinetry & countertops, our clients have enjoyed their experience & are excited with the end results.
Our goal is to make your experience enjoyable & your finished project amazing!
